Previous Red Bull chief Christian Horner is reportedly "contacting nearly every team principal" as he pursues a comeback to Formula 1, as stated by Aston Martin F1 top executive Andy Cowell.

The British racing team is among the teams that are associated with Horner.

The Aston Martin CEO revealed he had verified the situation with squad proprietor Lawrence Stroll this past Friday at the Marina Bay race.

"It seems like Christian is contacting nearly every team principal at the moment," said the executive.

"I can definitively state there are no plans for the involvement of Christian in an management or financial position in the future."

Further Organizations Comment

Haas chief Ayao Komatsu stated that the ex-chief had "reached out to" the US-based team but noted: "Nothing has gone any further. The matter is closed."

The Renault-owned team top official Steve Nielsen revealed the organization's advisor and de facto boss Flavio Briatore was "old friends" with the former principal.

Nielsen commented: "I have no knowledge what they talk about. What I understand is there are no intentions for Christian to join Alpine but this doesn't imply it won't happen."

The historic British team boss James Vowles declared that the ex-chief had not contacted them.

"We're content with the structure we have and it's working," Vowles said. "I don't see any reason to alter this."

Previous Developments

The former team principal is eligible to rejoin F1 by the mid-next season after completing a departure deal with Red Bull on 22 September.

The veteran motorsport figure was fired as Red Bull's chief after the British Grand Prix in the month of July.

Multiple sources at the organization have indicated the financial arrangement was worth 60m euros (£52m).
