Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
